Firms to get discount on expat permit fees for meeting Omanisation targets
Muscat: The Ministry of Labour (MoL) has implemented a system (based on the Ministerial Decision 602/2025 issued in October) that gives incentives to companies with discounts in expatriate permit fees if they meet Omanisation targets.The permit fees will be reduced by 30 percent if the employer complies with the prescribed Omanization percentages, and fees will be doubled in the event of non-compliance with such percentages.Added benefits will include that employers will be allowed to compete...
