First Belarus tourist flight arrives in Salalah

SALALAH: The first Belavia Airlines flight arrived on Thursday at Salalah Airport in Dhofar Governorate from Belarus capital Minsk. Belavia Airlines will operate charter flights between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus at a rate of one flight per week. This reflects the keenness of relevant departments to enhance the tourism sector in the Sultanate of Oman. The move also stems from efforts undertaken by Oman Airports company to attract international flights to the airports of the Sultanate of Oman, including Salalah Airport, which experiences observable tourism growth during the winter season. — ONA
