Muscat: India's Jet Airways will wind up its operations in Muscat from February second week, as per reports.

"Effective February 10, 2019, we will be discontinuing operations to and from Muscat, the company said in a travel alert on it website.

Currently, it operates only to Mumbai, the first service to be launched by the airline from Oman in 2008.

As per the reports,  Jet Airways will withdraw services from nine airports in India and Gulf by February 2019.

The operations to be cancelled in the Gulf will include Sharjah and Muscat.

From Muscat, Jet has already suspended its operations to Delhi, Thiruvanthapuram and Kochi.
