BARKA: Sarooj Water prevailed over Glace Ice Cream 2-0 in the best of three series to claim the FMCG Inter Factories cricket tournament title recently.
Organised under the floodlights by the Barka Champions League (BCL) in collaboration with local corporate groups, the MRP tournament featured two high-voltage, friendly encounters.
Prominent regional brands served as key sponsors as Sarooj Bottled Drinking Water headlined the event alongside Glace Ice Cream, bringing an exciting corporate rivalry to the turf.
Spectators gathered in large numbers to witness the marquee clash between Team Sarooj Water and their rivals, Team Glace Ice Cream, who locked horns in a fiercely contested, floodlit match. Adding flavour to the tournament's festive atmosphere, popular local treats like Masala Chips were featured prominently to keep the crowds entertained throughout the weekend matches.
