SUR: Acting in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology opened a new section of the Sultan Turki bin Said Road, which extends between the Wilayat of Al Kamil W'al Wafi and the Wilayat of Sur in Al Sharqiyah South Governorate.
The new 7-km section of the road runs between the Maslaq area and Seeh Al Matar. It passes through Sur Gate and serves travellers from the Wilayat of Al Kamil W'al Wafi.
The Sultan Turki bin Said Road figures among major projects undertaken by the ministry due to its importance in enhancing the road network that connects the wilayats of Al Sharqiyah South Governorate. - ONA
