Izki club crowned Under-17 Football League champions after a determined 1–0 victory over Al Khaboura club in the final held at Al Rustaq Sports Complex on Saturday evening. The match was played in front of an enthusiastic crowd, highlighting the continued progress of youth football in the Sultanate of Oman.

Al Khaboura started strongly, pressing forward and creating early chances through swift wing play and quick transitions. However, Izki’s goalkeeper delivered a series of key saves to maintain parity during the opening exchanges.

The breakthrough arrived in the 43rd minute when Rakan al Jabri capitalised on a well-orchestrated move, finishing confidently to give Izki the lead just before halftime.

After the interval, Al Khaboura intensified their efforts in search of an equaliser, making attacking substitutions and committing more players forward. Five minutes of stoppage time added late tension, but Izki’s disciplined defensive organisation ensured the narrow advantage remained intact until the final whistle.

Earlier, Al Musannah claimed third place with a 3–1 win over Al Ittihad in the playoff match.
