SUHAR: A specialised medical team at Sohar Hospital recently conducted the hospital's first anterior and posterior anatomical repair of wrist ligaments for a patient who had suffered chronic injury for more than one year.

‏The operation, performed after thorough clinical and radiological evaluation and application of modern anatomical techniques, met with success in restoring functional stability to the patient's joint and diminishing chronic pain.

The surgery figures among rare, advanced medical procedures in the field of hand and wrist treatments. It was an accomplishment that reflected Sohar Hospital medical teams’ commitment to apply the latest advanced surgical techniques and provide specialised medical care to the local community. — ONA
