The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) has warned that some foreign investors are adding and practicing interior design execution activities (plastering, painting, and decoration), and promoting these services via their social media accounts.

These firms operate as engineering consultancy offices or interior design offices, without obtaining the required license to practice this profession.

They violate the Law Regulating the Work of Engineering Consultancy Offices and the applicable regulations and controls.

It urged everyone to comply with the applicable regulations, and legal action will be taken against violators.
