MUSCAT: The Medical City for Military and Security Services marked its second Annual Scientific Research Day. The event, held under the theme "Empowering Minds... Enriching the Future," was conducted under the auspices of Brigadier (Doctor) Saqr bin Zayed al Busaidy, Assistant Head of the Medical City for Military and Security Services for Medical Affairs.


The ceremony, held at the Military and Security Services Pension Fund on Tuesday, commenced with a visual presentation titled "Towards Research Leadership: From Vision to Achievement."

The presentation highlighted key scientific research in medical studies. Following this, the Commandant of the Medical City School for Military and Security Services delivered an address emphasising the vital role of scientific research in advancing public health.


The event featured scientific and panel discussion sessions covering a range of medical fields and specialisations. A specialised exhibition in medicine and scientific research was also organised, showcasing a selection of scientific studies and medical research projects.
