MUSCAT: From its humble beginnings in 2012 as the Mazoon Medical Center Cricket Team, later evolving into the Muscat Dentist XI, the Oman Dentist Cricket Team has steadily built a reputation in the local cricket scene.
They have participated in numerous tournaments and won several trophies along the way. Under the leadership of Captain Dr Haresh Basheer and Vice-Captain Dr Frank, with key players including Dr Mohit (wicketkeeper), Dr Ashik, Dr Manoj, Dr Khader, Dr Mujeeb, Dr Naveen, Dr. Rafi, Dr Sanal Mohan, Dr Ismail, Dr Nazer, Dr Nishant, Dr Hasham, and Dr Rahul, the team continues to inspire as Oman’s only dedicated dentists’ cricket squad.
The team is now preparing for the upcoming Private Health Establishment Cricket Tournament and the Ramadhan Cricket Tournament in 2026, marking another exciting chapter in their journey.
