Muscat: His Majesty the Sultan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of India witnessed at Al Barakah Palace the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India, with the aim of enhancing trade and investment cooperation, facilitating the movement of goods and services, and expanding cooperation in vital fields including energy, technology and manufacturing industries.
His Majesty the Sultan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of India also held an official session of talks at Al Barakah Palace, during which existing paths of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the friendly Republic of India were discussed, along with ways to broaden partnership prospects and investment opportunities in a manner that contributes to achieving the future aspirations of both countries and enhancing mutual benefits, in addition to exchanging views on key regional and international developments.
