The talks were attended on the Omani side by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and several ministers and senior officials. On the Iraqi side, the delegation included Dr Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Eng Hayan Abdul Ghani, Minister of Oil, Atheer Dawood al Ghurairi, Minister of Trade, and other senior officials.

It is worth noting that the Iraqi Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation were received upon arrival at the private airport in Salalah by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, alongside a number of ministers and officials.
