Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik praised the efforts and contributions of the State Council and its cooperation with government institutions in advancing the paths of comprehensive development in the Sultanate.
This came during His Majesty’s meeting with the State Council at Al Barakah Palace, where he commended the council’s role in supporting development priorities and enhancing economic, social and developmental aspects in the country.
His Majesty emphasised that addressing issues raised at the national level is a shared responsibility among all state institutions and bodies. He underlined the importance of collective efforts to contribute to overcoming challenges, developing public policies and supporting the state’s directions in achieving the interests of the nation and serving its citizens.
His Majesty directed the importance of putting in place effective implementation mechanisms that enable proposals to be transformed into practical steps supporting the resolution of issues of concern to society and consolidating the integration of efforts among state institutions, to ensure the sustainability of development, preserve national gains and achievements, and enhance public confidence.
His Majesty the Sultan also emphasised the importance of engaging with societal issues and existing challenges, conveying correct and appropriate messages regarding the issues raised through media and social media platforms, clarifying the efforts exerted and the achievements and gains realised at the national level, and raising the level of awareness.
