The opening of Al Irfan Mosque in Al Irfan, Wilayat of Bausher, was celebrated on Friday. The mosque's opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr Mohammed bin Said al Maamari, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs. Nasser bin Rashid al Shibli, the mosque's representative, said, : “Al Irfan Mosque consists of a two-story main building, designed in a modern Islamic style that combines architectural beauty with practical functionality, while taking into account standards of comfort, safety and ease of movement within the facilities”.

The main prayer hall can accommodate approximately 1,500 worshippers. It features an open design that promotes natural ventilation and ample lighting; and is crowned by a circular dome that forms the mosque's architectural centerpiece.
