His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik presided over a meeting of the Council of Ministers at Al Maamoura Palace in Salalah.

The Council of Ministers has reiterated the foundational principles underlying the Sultanate of Oman's consistent policy of upholding international peace and security. It commended the results of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha and the resolutions adopted therein. The Council expressed its condemnation of the Israeli aggression against the State of Qatar, which constitutes a flagrant violation of its national sovereignty and contravenes established international laws and norms. The Council affirmed its unwavering solidarity with Qatar and endorsed all relevant measures undertaken by Qatar.

The Council of Ministers has reaffirmed the Sultanate of Oman's unwavering stance on the Palestinian cause and the situation in the occupied territories, condemning the continued aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip. It categorically rejected the persistent deliberate targeting of innocent civilians, medical and relief personnel, journalists, and infrastructure within the Strip, as well as the systematic use of starvation tactics against the population, the obstruction of humanitarian assistance, and forced displacement attempts.

These measures constitute grave violations of international norms and law, resolutions of international legitimacy, and fundamental humanitarian principles. Such acts undermine all regional and international peace initiatives directed toward achieving a just and comprehensive peace that ensures the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
