MUSCAT: Innotech, a pioneering Omani company in 3D printing, is redefining the construction sector with cutting-edge technology and sustainable solutions. Founded in 2013 and operating under the supervision of the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, Innotech is at the forefront of transforming traditional building methods to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimise environmental impact.

Eng Othman bin Maktoum al Mandhari, co-founder of Innotech, highlighted the company’s commitment to integrating advanced construction techniques with sustainability. “We focus on developing localised concrete mixes suited to Oman’s environmental conditions, ensuring reduced carbon emissions and minimal construction waste,” he said.

The company has already implemented several groundbreaking projects using 3D concrete printing. These include a multi-purpose hall for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), service facilities at Al Naseem Public Park, the Ibn Al Nazar Center in the Wilayat of Samayil for the Ministry of Education (currently under construction), the "Mini Oasis" project in Al Zama, the Wilayat of Al Rustaq for Omran (currently under construction), and six service stations and administrative offices in Al Wusta Governorate (currently under construction).

Innotech’s innovation and rapid growth have attracted significant investment, notably from Itcha Group, to scale operations and advance next-generation construction technologies. The company has also gained international recognition, ranking among the top five regional startups in modern construction technologies at a prestigious global competition.

Beyond construction, Innotech is expanding its expertise to environmental sustainability projects, including the development of artificial coral reefs to mitigate marine ecosystem damage.

With a strong focus on digital transformation, the company is also committed to training Omani talent to lead the next phase of technological and sustainable advancements in the country’s construction sector. — ONA
