

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) launched a range of electronic services in 2024 to improve public convenience and streamline administrative processes.
Developed in collaboration with various government bodies, these services aimed to make essential services more accessible and efficient for citizens and residents.
Key e-services included the following:
Digital Identity Service: Secure access to government platforms using advanced digital identification.
Traffic Violations Display: View and monitor traffic fines electronically without visiting police stations.
First-Time Vehicle Registration: Complete vehicle registration processes online, streamlining the onboarding of new vehicles.
Mortgage Transactions Online: Add or remove mortgage details digitally without paperwork
Traffic Safety Portal: A digital gateway for road safety training and resources.
Self-Service Vehicle Renewal: Renew vehicle registrations through self-service kiosks available nationwide.
Electronic Marriage Contract Registration: A collaboration with the Supreme Judiciary Council for efficient marital status updates.
Digital Traffic Fine Payments: Pay fines through electronic wallets and platforms like “Tasdeed.”
Fingerprint Applications via ROP App: Submit fingerprint requests through a user-friendly mobile app.
Reissuing Lost Vehicle Licenses: Self-service kiosks enable fast reissuance of lost licenses without waiting in queues.
Integrated Medical Visa Screening: Streamlined medical screening services for visa applications in partnership with the Ministry of Health.
