Al Maladdah team lifts 'Dermo Cup'

MUSCAT: Al Maladdah team crowned the 2024 Dermo Cup, which saw eight teams vying for the coveted title during the tournament held over a month on Al Musannah ground.


Thirty days of excitement, love for soccer and passion for teamwork, all culminated in the grand finale at the ground as the spectators shouted and cheered for their favourite players.


The teams, Al Maladdah, Al Jazira, Al Quraeemm, Al Shuaiba, Wadam Al Ghaf, Shars Al Sahel, Al Awaid, and Al Arabi, besides Al Maladdah, fought for the 2024 Dermo Cup keeping the spectators of different ages spellbound.


Hosted by the Al Mussanah Club, the Dermo Cup was organised by Dermo Center for Skin Care Services as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility to activate sports events in the Wilayat of Al Mussanah and its surrounding areas.


"The tournament comes within the framework of corporate social responsibility, and that support for the local community to offer the youths with more avenues for sports and other entertainment activities. We will continue to support the local communities in future too,” said Saeed bin Saif al Nofali, CEO of the Dermo Center.


"The tournament also sought to discover talents in sports commentary and arbitration by providing them with the opportunity to participate in the Dermo Cup and they passionately participated in the tournament which shows the success of the same in ensuring maximum people participation," he added
