Bid rolled out to operate Seeb Geen Walk

MUSCAT: The Muscat Municipality on Sunday rolled out a bid for operating the facilities of the Green Walk in the Wilayat of Seeb. The project is in line with the municipality’s efforts aimed at building sustainable and vibrant communities.


Stretching over an area exceeding 152,000 sq metres, the project includes recreational and sports facilities, its implementation rate currently stands at 70 per cent.


The project includes a 3.2-kilometre-long walkway, sites for mobile cafes, a cycling track, green spaces and seating areas, multi-use sports fields, a skateboarding area, children’s playgrounds, physical sports equipment and car parks.
