Muscat: Muscat Municipality has put up for bidding the street vendors project in the Wilayat of Seeb in South Mawaleh.

The project will be based at Sultan Qaboos Street, designed to provide necessary services and facilities in one integrated location.

It will include five sites to accommodate 25 stalls, a shaded central plaza area with seating, and a designated area for children’s games, bathrooms, lighting, landscaping and basic services (electricity, water).

Apart from developing a system for controls on food safety, the project will reduce traffic congestion in residential areas.
