Muscat: The Royal Oman Police's Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department, led by the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police, managed to arrest an Asian resident on charges of smuggling and possessing more than 70 kilograms of crystal narcotics, and legal procedures are being completed against him.


In another incident, Al-Dhahirah Governorate Police Command arrested five people of different nationalities on charges of human trafficking after they lured a domestic worker to escape from the employer and forced her to engage in acts contrary to public morals, and the legal procedures against them are completed.


In another incident, Al-Buraimi Governorate Police Command arrested a citizen on charges of stealing from several vehicles in the Sa’raa area in the state of Al-Buraimi, and legal procedures are being completed against him.
