SUR: The Municipal Council of South Al Sharqiyah Governorate reviewed the visions and objectives of the National Urban Development Strategy in different wialyats of the governorate, at its fifth meeting held under the chairmanship of Dr Yahya bin Badr al Maawali, Governor of South Al Sharqiyah, on Tuesday.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning for Urban Planning, presented a visual display explaining the ministry’s vision, mission and values, the urban strategy projects in the governorate, the blue economy, the urban centre renovation projects in various wilayats of the governorate.
The Visual display highlighted development of Khor Grama, its importance and work progress at the project in addition to Ras Halaf development project in the Wilayat of Masirah and its importance in enhancing urbanization in the wilayat. It also focused on the Al Hira beautification project in the Wilayat of Al Kamil W’al-Wafi. — ONA
