A recreational tourism project 'Osara' which is built entirely from recycled wood is being held on Raysut Beach in the Wilayat of Salalah, Dhofar Governorate.

The project represents an integrated tourist destination that combines a variety of activities, recreational and cultural events, and relaxation opportunities targeting different age groups.

Majid bin Ali al Musahli, one of the founders of the tourism project, said that the project includes various programmes and activities to serve visitors and tourists, including: cultural and entertainment events, restaurants and cafes overlooking the sea.

Al Musahli added that the project management has added and improved some recreational activities to enhance tourism services for visitors to the site, most notably: the arrow throwing challenge, shooting with an axe, as well as riding water bikes and boats.

Madinat bint Ahmed Baamar, one of the founders of the tourism project, indicated that the project was built entirely from recycled wood, making the project a unique and environmentally friendly tourism project at the same time.

The founders of the project are looking forward to establishing a recreational area to become an integrated tourist destination that contributes to stimulating the tourism movement in the Wilayat of Salalah throughout the year, by making use of the available tourism potentials with more creative and innovative youth ideas. - ONA
