

Muscat: Headed by Sayyid Hamoud Faisal al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, several members of the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, followed-up on Tuesday the process of vaccinating target segments within the National Strategy for Immunization against Coronavirus (Covid-19) at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).
Sayyid Hamoud and the panel members were briefed on the procedures of the vaccination process, from the registration phase all the way to taking the vaccine.
They commended the great turnout of target segments, which reflects the societal awareness of immunization against Covid-19.
In a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA) and to Oman Televesion, Eng Said Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, member of the Supreme Committee praised the vaccination process, its easiness, and the organization in the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. He underscored the pivotal role of the centre in the vaccination process.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health, within the National Strategy for Immunization against Coronavirus (Covid-19) continues vaccinating target segments in all governorates of the Sultanate, which sees a great turnout of people. --ONA
