MUSCAT: In implementation of the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to speed up the process of employment for job seekers and, in pursuance of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF)’s keenness to provide opportunities to all to join military service, the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) on Monday began steps for the recruitment of job seekers who applied recently.

Coordinated with the Ministry of Labour, the employment procedures were finalised after the assessment and approval of the applicants, who will then be given training as soldier recruits at the RAO.

The RAO put all its administrative, health and transport means at the service of the selected candidates to help them join the ranks of military service and serve their nation alongside their seniors.

The efforts reflect the SAF’s willingness to provide employment for job seekers in accordance with plans set for recruitment by the Defence Ministry. — ONA
