Sept 13----- A memorial of Sohar ship has been erected in the Chines Guangzhou to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Oman-China diplomatic relationships. The inaugral cermony was attended by Dr Abdulmunim bin Mansour alHasani, Minister of Information, and the accompanying delegation.
The chief guest appreciated the high attendance, stressing the depth of the historical relations between the Omani and Chinese civilization. His Excellency said that this good relationship has spread over thousands of years, and did not stop.
The Omani Ambassador to China invited Omani businessmen to visit China, in order to meet Chinese counterparts and share their experiences with them. Meanwhile, the ambassador stressed that the Omani embassy in China is fully prepared to offer all facilities for business and pioneers.
