Sandan Development has announced the 70 per cent completion of structural works at Sandan Light Industries Park. According to the Chairman of the project, Mohammed bin Suleiman al Kindi, the execution phases and completion rate are as prescheduled and 1000 plus units are undergoing finishing activities to ensure the on time delivery of the project. In his statement he said, “The government has played a vital role by supporting this national project based on the strong trust in importance of ensuring income by encouraging the private sector to build more investment projects.”

Located on Muscat Express Way, the project covers more than 250,000 sqm and integrates 2,200 workshops and exhibition halls for building materials and automobiles, 400 offices and 1,800 residential units for workers.

The CEO of Sandan Light Industries Park, Said al Rashdi said, “We will be ready to rent the outlets by the first quarter of 2018. We had sold out the project within few days when it was announced and now the next aim would be to target the market early next year for rental. There are thousands of units being set and so we will make sure that everyone that works in the field gets to know about the project.”
