MUSCAT: Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries will celebrate the laying of the foundation stone for its construction project on Thursday. This comes as a translation of the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, who always stresses the importance of enhancing the sources of national income to push towards further prosperity and progress. The importance of the project lies in its ability to provide new jobs for Omani youth and lay the foundations for the future development of investment in petrochemical industry. Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries is a joint venture between Oman Oil Company and Kuwait Petroleum International.
