Astana: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in the Republic of Kazakhstan on Monday, October 5, for a two-day state visit.
The Kazakh President led the welcoming party at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana, wishing His Majesty and his accompanying delegation a pleasant and successful visit.
His Majesty greeted Kazakh officials and members of the Omani Embassy in Astana, while the President greeted the delegation accompanying His Majesty. The two leaders then witnessed a guard of honour parade.
Military aircraft from the Kazakh Air Force escorted His Majesty’s aircraft as it entered Kazakhstan’s airspace, in welcome of the visit.
An official reception ceremony will be held on Tuesday at the Palace of Independence in Astana.
The visit will explore ways to strengthen cooperation across various fields and advance bilateral relations in a manner that serves the shared interests of both countries.
