His Majesty to visit Kazakhstan

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on a state-visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, starting from this Monday.


The visit will explore all aspects of cooperation that would elevate bilateral relations to the levels that fulfil the desired objectives across all fields, culminating in outcomes that serve the common interests of both countries.

This was stated in a statement issued today by the Diwan of Royal Court, reading as follows:

“In consolidation of the bonds of friendship between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in response to the gracious invitation extended to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan, His Majesty the Sultan will pay a state-visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, during 5-6 October 2026.

The visit will explore all aspects of cooperation that would elevate bilateral relations to the levels that fulfil the desired objectives across all fields, culminating in outcomes that serve the common interests of both countries.

Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan during his visit will be a high-level official delegation comprising: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Lt.Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed al Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr. Hamad bin Said al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority; Anwar bin Hilal al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Salim Jaaboub, the Sultanate of Oman's Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
