SALALAH: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a message of thanks from the participants of the 25th forum of the History and Archaeology Society of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries which was hosted by the Sultanate of Oman in Salalah from August 23 to 26.
The participants expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the warm welcome, generous hospitality, and exceptional hospitality.
The participants also praised Dhofar Governorate for its ancient historical heritage and unique, breathtaking natural beauty, in addition to its rapid development across various tourism, economic, and developmental sectors.
They concluded by offering prayers to Allah Almighty to protect His Majesty the Sultan, grant him continued health and well-being, and a long life, and to grant the Omani people continued progress, development and prosperity. — ONA
