Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received at Al Baraka Palace the Foreign Minister of the sisterly State of Kuwait.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed current developments in the region. His Majesty was briefed by the visiting minister on Kuwait’s perspectives regarding the ongoing war and its repercussions on regional countries and the global economy.
His Majesty reaffirmed the Sultanate of Oman’s position, emphasising the need to intensify efforts to achieve de-escalation, reduce tensions and prevent further escalation, while working towards comprehensive solutions to end the crisis at its roots in a manner that safeguards regional security, stability and the well-being of its peoples.
