ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall and possible urban and flash flooding in major cities, with unsettled weather forecast from July 29 to August 5.
The department said heavy rain is expected to affect Islamabad and neighbouring areas, increasing the risk of flash floods in vulnerable locations.
It also warned of possible landslides in mountainous areas and urged residents to take the necessary precautions.
Tourists and travellers have been advised to exercise caution and avoid high-risk areas during the period of unstable weather.
