Qatar suspends all types of marine activity

The Ministry of Transport in Qatar has called on all owners and users of pleasure boats, fishing boats, jet skis, and other similar marine vehicles to temporarily suspend sailing and practicing marine activities, as of the date of issuance of this circular until further notice, in the interest of public safety.

The Ministry added in a circular through its account on the X platform, except for ships subject to the provisions of international maritime agreements, which continue their operations in accordance with the applicable regulations and procedures.

This temporary precautionary measure comes based on coordination with the competent security authorities. 


The Ministry also called on everyone to fully comply with the provisions of this circular, stressing that any developments will be announced in coordination with the competent authorities through official channels
