

Muscat: In light of the current developments taking place in some countries of the region, Oman Airports informed passengers heading to destinations that may be affected by the closure of some airspaces of the necessity to communicate directly with their operating airlines before heading to the airport, to check the updates on their flights, to avoid any delays or changes that may occur in flight schedules.
Oman Air
In light of recent developments in the region, Oman Air flights to and from Baghdad have been temporarily suspended.
The rest of our network is operating as scheduled, with some delays, and, where re-routing is necessary, will utilise flight paths well distanced from conflict areas. Travellers have been advised to check their flight status before leaving for the airport.
SalamAir
Due to the current evolving situation in the region, SalamAir said that all SalamAir international flights (including Masirah) have been cancelled for the coming 24 hours starting from February 2026 as a precautionary measure.
All affected passengers will be contacted directly.
Indigo: The largest airline, Indigo, said that all flights to and from the Middle East are cancelled till 12 am. These measures have been instituted as the safety and security of our customers and crew is our highest priority. "Our teams are continuously monitoring the evolving situation and recalibrating operations to minimise disruption as much as possible. Flydubai: Some flights are impacted due to the closure of Iraqi airspace.
Kuwait, the UAE, and Bahrain have closed their airspace for now.
Qatar's civil aviation authority said on Saturday it had temporarily closed the Gulf state's airspace, and Qatar Airways said it had suspended all flights from Doha, after Israel and the United States launched strikes on Iran.
In a statement, the authority "announced the temporary suspension of air traffic in Qatari airspace as part of a series of precautionary measures" and Qatar Airways said it "confirms the temporary suspension of its flights to, and from, Doha due to the closure of Qatari airspace".
Turkish Airlines
Turkish Airlines said on Saturday that it had cancelled flights to several Middle Eastern destinations after some countries closed their airspace.* Flights to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Jordan are cancelled until March 2*
Flights to Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman are cancelled for February 28.
