Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday issued Royal Decree No (66/2026) on amending some laws. After the same was presented before the Council of Oman.
Article (1) stipulates that the amendments attached to this decree shall be applied on the Penal Law promulgated by Royal Decree No (7/2018).
Article (2) annuls the article (146) of the Labour Law promulgated by Royal Decree No (53/2023). It also cancels all that contradicts the attached amendments or contravenes their provisions.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published on the Official Gazette and enforced on the day following its date of publishing.
