AL DUQM: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has launched an ambulance service in the Wilayat of Al Duqm. This initiative comes as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the emergency response system and elevate the readiness of ambulance services, keeping pace with the developmental and economic growth currently witnessed by the wilayat.

The introduction of this service aligns with the steady urban, industrial and investment expansion in the Wilayat of Al Duqm, highlighting its strategic economic and logistical significance within the Sultanate of Oman.

This rapid growth necessitates the reinforcement of safety and emergency services to support the community and workforce operating in vital and economic zones.

The Authority affirmed that the new service will bolster the field response system and minimise response times for emergency calls and incidents. This will enhance the overall efficiency of handling various accidents and medical emergencies in accordance with the highest standards of readiness and swift response. - ONA
