The exhibition brings together a select group of innovators and researchers to compete in 22 diverse scientific fields, including engineering, computer science, social sciences, and other areas reflecting the latest scientific and technological advancements.

It serves as a leading global platform for showcasing student research and innovations and promoting a culture of scientific research and innovation.

The exhibition provides students with opportunities to exchange scientific experiences and expertise with their peers from around the world, broadening their horizons for learning, cultural exchange and knowledge sharing, and contributing to the development of globally competitive scientific minds. These achievements are a continuation of the Ministry of Education's efforts to support scientific innovation and empower students to participate in international competitions, thus enhancing the Sultanate of Oman's presence in global scientific forums and affirming the ability of Omani students to compete and achieve excellence.

Such participation sharpens students’ skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), preparing a generation equipped with the tools of the future and capable of applying knowledge to find innovative solutions to contemporary challenges. They also foster students’ critical thinking, teamwork, research and analytical skills, in addition to developing technological awareness and establishing a culture of innovation and creativity. — ONA
