Due to cumulus cloud formation, there are chances of rain of varying intensity, including thunderstorms, accompanied by active descending winds and hailstone falls, with the possibility of flowing wadis and flash floods in parts of the Hajar Mountains and adjacent areas, according to Oman Meterology.

Temperatures, however, continue to prevail over 45°C in various parts of the Sultanate of Oman, including Rustaq, Nakhal, Ibri, Bidiyah, Samail, and Buraimi, among others.

The general forecast for Monday is partly cloudy skies along Dhofar coasts and mountains with intermittent drizzle.

Medium and high cloud advections over most of the governorates, with a chance of convective cloud development and isolated rain. Occasional thundershowers associated with fresh wind and potentially hail over parts of the Al Hajar Mountains towards the afternoon may extend to the desert areas in the evening.

Chance of late-night to early-morning low clouds over South al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta governorates and parts of the Sea of Oman.
