

Muscat: Royal Air Force of Oman (A) won the Royal Armed Forces beach volleyball championship after defeating Royal Army of Oman (A) 2-0 in the final at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher.
The five-day event, organised by the Directorate General of Military Sports, featured seven military and security entities with 20 teams (14 men and 6 women). Royal Army of Oman (B) secured third place in the men’s category.
In the women’s competition, the Ministry of Defence team claimed the title, followed by Royal Court Affairs in second place, while Royal Navy of Oman finished third.
The championship highlighted strong competition and served as a platform to identify players for upcoming international events.
