Muscat: The Oman Basketball Association’s (OBA) Ordinary General Assembly will hold its annual meeting at 11 am on Tuesday, in the presence of the federation’s vice-chairman, board members, and the presidents and representatives of affiliated clubs, at the hall of the Oman Olympic Committee and Sports Association’s building in Al Ghubra.
The agenda includes the approval of the meeting agenda, followed by an address by the Association’s board of directors. Three members will be appointed to review the minutes of the meeting, and the minutes of the previous Ordinary General Assembly meeting will be approved.
The assembly will then review the technical report, as well as the administrative and financial activities for the year ending 2025. It will also examine the annual audited balance sheet and the statement of surplus and liabilities for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025.
In addition, the meeting will discuss and approve the association’s annual budget for 2026, vote on the appointment of an external auditor for the financial year, determine financial allowances, and review proposals submitted by members, alongside proposals put forward by the board of directors in accordance with the governing regulations.
