Muscat: The Wilayat of Al Amerat hosted the domino doubles final at the Fourth District on Monday for the third consecutive year under the auspices of Khalaf bin Nasser al Busaidy.

The final match brought together Al Sadd team, represented by Darwish bin Saleh al Wuhaibi and Ali bin Abdulrahim al Mohammed, against Al Zaeem team, represented by Mahmoud bin Harith al Hadi and Abdulmajeed bin Abdullah al Balushi. Al Sadd delivered a strong performance to secure victory with a score of 105 to 65 points.

Following the match, the closing ceremony commenced with Hamza bin Hamad al Dhafari delivering a speech in which he expressed appreciation to all contributors to the success, highlighting the key role played by Ali bin Said al Siyabi, chairman of the organising committee.

The ceremony also featured an art recital by Ali bin Salim al Wuhaibi. Prizes were then awarded to the winners, alongside honouring the organising committee chairman, referees and administrators.

The event concluded with the recognition of the patron of the ceremony in appreciation of his support for the championship.
