Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Saturday said that the US media is misrepresenting Iran’s stance, emphasizing that the government remains deeply grateful to Pakistan and has never refused to visit Islamabad.

He stated that Iran’s primary focus is securing the terms for a conclusive and lasting end to the 'illegal war' currently being imposed upon the country.

In a post on X, Araghchi said, “What we care about are the terms of a conclusive and lasting end to the illegal war that is imposed on us.”

Iran's position is being misrepresented by the U.S. media. We are deeply grateful to Pakistan for its efforts and have never refused to go to Islamabad. What we care about are the terms of a conclusive and lasting END to the illegal war that is imposed on us."
