The curtain came down on the inaugural Koorathon Championship with Oman Logistics Academy being crowned champions after defeating University of Nizwa 4-2 in an exciting and highly competitive final.

The match began with an attacking approach from both sides, as Oman Logistics Academy opened the scoring early. However, University of Nizwa quickly responded with an equaliser just minutes later.

The academy regained control after capitalising on a mistake by the University of Nizwa goalkeeper to score the second goal, before adding a third shortly afterwards to end the first half with a 3-1 advantage.

In the second half, University of Nizwa pushed forward with strong attacking pressure in an attempt to reduce the deficit. However, Oman Logistics Academy struck again with a fourth goal, making the task more difficult for their opponents.

Despite the setback, University of Nizwa continued to press forward and managed to score their second goal, but time ran out before they could complete a comeback, as Oman Logistics Academy secured a 4-2 victory to claim the title of the first Koorathon Championship.

In the third-place playoff, the International College of Engineering and Management played out an entertaining attacking match that ended 4-4 in regular time. The team eventually secured third place after winning the penalty shootout.
