Omanis can travel visa-free to Belarus from March 17

Muscat: The Foreign Ministry has said effective from March 17, 2026, the mutual visa exemption agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Belarus will come into effect.

The Ministry urged citizens, when planning travel to the Republic of Belarus, to adhere to the regulations and laws in force in the host country and to take note of the following, obtaining a visa if their entry is prior to the effective date of the aforementioned agreement, and the passport be valid for at least six months.

The duration of stay does not exceed 30 days per visit, provided that the total duration of stay does not exceed 90 days during the calendar year, and in the event of a desire to remain for a period exceeding 30 days in a single visit, a visa must be obtained in accordance with the laws of the host country.

The purpose of the visit is not to engage in work, commercial activity, or any other paid activities. The Ministry also urged everyone to have health insurance that covers their period of stay.
