Muscat: A security source reported that two drones crashed in the Wilayat of Suhar.
One crashed in the Al-Awahi industrial area, resulting in the deaths of two expatriates and several injuries.
The other crashed in an open area, causing no injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate both incidents.
The relevant authorities commend the awareness and cooperation of citizens and residents in refraining from sharing images and rumors and in obtaining information only from official sources.
They assure everyone that all efforts are being made to protect the Sultanate of Oman and its people.
