Two Asian expatriates died, while several people were injured, following a collision between two trucks under the Bidbid-Al Sharqiyah Bridge on Sultan Thuwaini bin Said Road (traveling from Nizwa towards Muscat).
The accident saw a collision between two trucks and five other vehicles in the same lane.
Traffic was temporarily diverted until the accident was cleared.
