The Royal Cavalry continued its distinguished presence on the regional racing stage as ‘Muthabir’ claimed first place in the fourth race, designated for Purebred Arabian horses over a distance of 1,600 metres, held on Monday evening at Al Ain Racecourse in the United Arab Emirates.
Delivering a composed and tactical performance, Muthabir maintained a steady rhythm during the early stages before accelerating decisively in the final stretch to secure a well earned victory. The horse was ridden by jockey Abdulaziz al Balushi and trained by Ibrahim al Hadhrami, highlighting the team’s strong preparation and competitive readiness.
Speaking after the race, Abdulaziz al Balushi expressed his delight with the result, stating: “Praise be to God for this victory. The competition was intense from the start, but Muthabir showed great fighting spirit and responded perfectly in the final turn. I extend my thanks to the Royal Cavalry and to trainer Ibrahim al Hadhrami for their trust and continuous support. We look forward to maintaining this positive momentum in the upcoming races.”
Finishing second was the mare 'Jazeela', owned by Khalfan al Qubaisi, ridden by Sam Hitchcott and trained by Musabah al Muhairi, after a strong challenge throughout the race. Third place went to 'RB Blite Dat', owned by Al Laith Racing, ridden by Richard Mullen and also trained by Musabah al Muhairi.
This victory adds another milestone to the Royal Cavalry’s record in international participation and reflects the continued development of Purebred Arabian racing under its banner, reinforcing its competitive standing across prominent Gulf racecourses, including the prestigious Al Ain track.
