MUSCAT: Dominos Pizza — BGO Team survived a scare to beat TCBL All-Stars 112-106 in a thrilling match of the Tuesday Club Basketball League (TCBL) Clash with the Titans 2026.

After a three-year hiatus, the much-anticipated TCBL Clash with the Titans roared back to life at the Torch Basketball Court in Al Ghubra on Sunday night. The match reignited one of Oman basketball’s anticipated events in the Filipino Community Sports event.

Designed as a stage where emerging talent meets proven champions, the Clash with the Titans series features the TCBL All-Star Selection; composed of top performers from the ongoing Winter Cup Season 3 competing against powerhouse squads from leading community and commercial leagues in Oman.

BGO Team's Alipio (#18) delivered a standout performance to earn Best Player of the Game honours, finishing with 33 points highlighted by timely shooting and crucial free throws in the closing minutes. Alipio wasted no time imposing his presence, knocking down an early three-pointer and completing a three-point play as Ginebra surged to a 30-21 advantage after the first quarter.

The Dominos Pizza-sponsored team extended its dominance in the second period behind Lazo (#24), who buried a three-pointer, while Moralde (#17) and Busquit (#20) added consecutive baskets to push the lead to 63-45 at half-time, threatening to turn the contest into a rout.

But the TCBL All-Stars responded with determination. Behind the aggressive play of Soriano (#31), who finished with 28 points, the All-Stars mounted a furious third-quarter rally. Soriano converted steals into fast-break points, while Hipolito (#98) added crucial baskets as the All-Stars erased the deficit and seized a 75-73 lead heading into the final period.

Ochona (#59) added 13 points for the All-Stars, while Gnotob (#107) and Tenerife (#61) contributed 11 and 10 points respectively in a collective effort that underscored the depth of talent within the TCBL ranks.

TENSE FINISH

The fourth quarter featured multiple lead changes in a tense finish.

With the All-Stars holding a slim 106-105 lead in the final minute, Alipio calmly sank pressure free throws to tie the game before Moralde delivered the decisive blow.

Moralde grabbed a crucial offensive rebound and scored the go-ahead basket with less than a minute remaining, giving Ginebra a 108-106 advantage. He then converted two free throws in the closing seconds to secure the victory, while Celiza (#1) added the final basket at the buzzer.

Ginebra’s experience ultimately proved decisive, as the team executed efficiently in critical moments to escape with the six-point win.

The Tuesday Basketball Club League awarded Anwar H Razmi, General Manager of Domino’s Pizza Oman, in recognition of his unwavering support to the Filipino Community League.

Through his leadership and the strong partnership with Domino’s Pizza Oman, TCBL has strengthened its programmes and continued to unite the Filipino community through sports.
