

MUSCAT: Salalah continue to lead the Clubs Bowling League, organised by the Oman Bowling Committee at Seeb Bowling Centre, as the competition enters its decisive stages following the conclusion of rounds 10, 11 and 12. The league features the participation of 100 male and female players representing 15 clubs, with competition intensifying amid closely-matched performances and a heated battle at the top of the standings.
In Round 10, dominant victories marked most encounters. Salalah defeated Al Nasr 8–0 to reinforce their title ambitions, while Bausher overcame Qurayat 8–0. Seeb defeated Al Bashayer 8–0, Oman Club beat Al Musannah 8–0, Jaalan overcame Sohar 8–0 and Ahli Sidab defeated Al Mudhaibi 8–0. The most balanced match saw Masirah and Al Amerat share points in an exciting 4–4 draw.
Round 11 witnessed continued strong performances, as Ahli Sidab thrashed Jaalan 8–0 and Oman Club overcame Sohar by the same score. Al Amerat secured a 6–2 victory over Al Musannah, Masirah defeated Al Bashayer 8–0, and Seeb beat Qurayat 8–0. In one of the key clashes, Salalah edged Bausher 6–2, while Al Nasr blanked Al Ittifaq 8–0.
Round 12 further shaped the title race. Bausher defeated Al Ittifaq 8–0, and Salalah continued their impressive form with an 8–0 victory over Seeb. Masirah beat Qurayat 8–0, Al Bashayer overcame Al Musannah 8–0, Al Amerat blanked Sohar 8–0, Ahli Sidab beat Oman Club 8–0 and Al Mudhaibi secured an 8–0 win over Jaalan.
In the overall standings after Round 12, Salalah top the table with 86 points, followed by Masirah in second place with 74 points and Seeb third with 68 points. Al Amerat sit fourth with 64 points, level with Ahli Sidab in fifth. Bausher are sixth with 60 points and Al Mudhaibi seventh with 54 points.
Al Nasr rank eighth with 48 points, followed by Oman Club in ninth with 38 points. Jaalan are 10th with 32 points, level with Al Bashayer in 11th. Al Ittifaq stand 12th with 20 points, Al Musannah 13th with 16, Qurayat 14th 14, while Sohar remain at the bottom in 15th place with just two points.
The upcoming rounds are expected to be decisive in determining the league title and final standings.
